苏州博物馆新馆是贝聿铭先生的最优秀的建筑设计作品之一,也是苏州传统文化与世界现代文化融合的一个典型范例。该文将结合文化融合的三个过程,从传统与现代文化融合简要分析新馆的文化特征。根据博物馆的建筑材料和采光与文化融合之间的联系来探讨文化融合在苏州博物馆新馆中的应用。

New Suzhou Museum is one of the greatest works of I.M.Pei.It is also a typical example of cultural integration of Suzhou traditional culture and modern culture.This paper will briefly analyze museum's cultural characteristics from aspect of cultural integration of modern and tradition with combination of three processes of cultural integration.Based on the relations between building materials and lighting and cultural integration,the paper will discuss the applications of cultural integration in New Suzhou Museum.
