中英爱情诗比较研究

Comparative Study between Chinese and English Love Poems

爱情是文学永恒的主题,作为文学的重要组成部分,诗歌是传递情感,颂扬爱情最普遍和最直观的方式,中英诗歌概莫能外。中英诗歌存在许多共通之处,中外诗人们以饱满的情感,表达他们对爱情的渴望与追寻,同时也流露出与所爱之人离别的痛苦和忧伤,但中英爱情诗也有许多不同之处,从内容、表现手法和写作风格三个方面对中英爱情诗的不同特点做比较,探讨了形成中英爱情诗不同特色的社会和文化因素。

Love is a perpetual theme of English Literature. As an important part of literature, poetry is considered as the most commonplace and intuitive way of conveying emotion and celebrating love. Both the Chinese and English poems are no excep-tion. Since ancient times, the Chinese and foreign poets have expressed their aspirations and pursuit for love with strong emotion, and showed anguish and sorrow of parting with their beloved. These are the common themes possessed by both Chinese and English love poems. Apart from these similarities, there exist differences. This paper aims to compare the different characteristics existing between Chinese and English love poems from the perspective of content, art of expression and writing style, and ex-plore the social and cultural elements contributing to the different characteristics between Chinese and English poems.
