The Application of on-line Psycholinguistic Research Techniques and Resources in SLA Research

二语习得的实证研究在近几年有了新的发展,研究者们更加关注学习者的即时反应。计算机科学技术和心理语言学的发展使得实验室在线(即时)的研究方法成为可能,为研究者们提供更加可靠的数据,去发现新的现象和问题,这些都是以往问卷、纸笔考试等方法不可能达到的。该文中作者介绍了三种可以用于二语习得研究的实验方法,分别是自控速阅读、听力法和句模匹配法,同时还调查总结了建成一个心理语言学实验室需要的硬件和软件。

The empirical research in SLA is becoming a trend, for it provides more reliable and real-like data. Using modern de-vices, we can conduct experiments modeling real-time input processing and output process, which cannot be realized through traditional questionnaire, reading comprehension test and elicitation task. This paper summarizes the five possible experimental methods, self-paced reading/listening, sentence matching, cross-modal priming, eye-tracking and ERP, which can be used in SLA research and also presents the relevant hard and soft devices when one wants to build a psycholinguistic research lab.
