摘要
主述位理论是语篇分析的重要方法之一。歌词语篇作为一种特殊的语篇,同样也适合用主述位理论来分析。该篇论文中作者选取了"You Belong with Me"和"Falling For You"两篇英文爱情歌词,以黄衍关于主位推进模式的分类为理论依据来分析这两篇的主位结构及主位推进模式。研究发现,在英文爱情歌曲中平行性的主位推进模式出现频率最高,此外,歌词中单项主位也是使用的最多的,尤其以人称代词为主。
The Theme-Rheme theory is one of the most important ways to analyze discourse. As a special discourse, lyrics can be analyzed with the Theme-Rheme theory. Under the framework of Huang Yan’s division of thematic pattern progression, this paper selects two English love songs to analyze the Theme-Rheme structure and thematic pattern progression. The English love lyrics use more parallel thematic progressions, besides, both of the two use more simple themes, most of which are personal pronouns.
