摘要
Mismatches between planning, teaching, and learning in the curriculum development give rise to the hidden curricu lum, which this paper mainly concerns with the explication of the reasons underlying the teacher's and learners' hidden curricu lum from the author's own teaching experience in classroom instructions as an English teacher for non-English majors in Shan grao Normal School(SNS), Jiangxi, China from 2005-2009. With a view to optimizing the benefit that the hidden curriculum produces and minimizing the drawbacks it inevitably entails, the author suggests some practical techniques for achieving a synthe sis between the teacher's and learners' hidden curriculum.
