英译汉教学中主题意识的培养

A Brief Talk on Fostering Theme-relevance Awareness in English-Chinese Translation Teaching

针对学生英译汉中存在的问题和错误观念,依据英译汉的实践特点,提出将教学重点放在理解阶段,帮助学生树立从整体到细节(top—down)的翻译学习思路,即培养学生的主题意识。结合学生在实践中遇到的真实问题,探讨了培养学生主题意识的重要性、途径和目标。

In view of the problems and misconceptions in E-C translation learning, this paper points out that different from C-E translation , accurate understanding is of prime importance in E-C translation. It is necessary to foster students ’awareness of theme-relevance in teaching, thus helping students build up a top-down approach to text translation.
