英语专业学生听力现状及多模态听力教学必要性研究

摘要 听因其在日常交际中所占比重最大,因而排在语言习得四大技能—听、说、读、写的首位。外语教学中学生听力的提高是难点,也是重点,在第二语言习得与教学中也越来越受到重视。该研究通过对某大学英语系学生所做的一份调查问卷,分析了目前英语专业学生听力中存在的一些急待解决的问题。回顾了多模态话语的国内外研究成果,结合此份调查问卷中的学生需求,从几方面介绍了多模态教学方法的优势,指出多模态教学是提升学生英语听力水平,提高英语听力课堂教学质量的一个行之有效的教学手段。 Listening, a key part in daily communication, ranks the first in the four language acquisition skills-listening, speaking, reading and writing. How to improve students’listening ability is not only difficult point,but also significant one in language teaching, which draws increasing attention in SLA and teaching fields. Through a questionnaire, some urgent problems in listen-ing current situation of English majors have been detected, research findings at home and abroad on multimodal discourse have been reviewed, and advantages of multimodality teaching method from several aspects have been probed into based on students ’ needs in the questionnaire. Finally, the conclusion that multimodality teaching method is an effective teaching method to im-prove students’listening ability and teaching quality of listening classes has been reached.
