公示语广泛应用于我们生活的方方面面,公示语的英译关系到一个地区,一个城市,乃至国家的经济发展和国际形象。公示语的分类,社会功能和应用功能以及语言特色的分析为公示语的英译研究提供了依据。
Public Signs are used widely in many aspects of life. The Chinese-English translation of public signs is connected with the economic development and international image of a region,a city and even the country. The classification,social and applica tion functions,and language characteristics provide evidence for the study of Chinese-English translation of public signs.
