大学英语滞后生的独立培养策略探讨 被引量:1

摘要 现行的大学英语培养模式越来越重视个体差异和因材施教等新理念,为此多数高校也采取了一些积极措施,如分级培养,跳级培养,个体培养等模式,但是往往针对的是优秀生和普通生,而大学英语滞后生却仍然是一个被遗忘的群体。该文通过理论研究、问卷调查、人员访谈等方式,初步确定大学英语滞后生的群体规模、英语水平、心理状态等问题,分析高校领导及师生对这个群体的态度,初步探讨对大学英语滞后生的独立培养模式的可行性,提高大学英语滞后生的英语水平,进而提高高校的整体教学质量。 The current cultivating strategy of college English directs increasing attention to students ’differences in personalities and competence. Accordingly, most colleges and universities have taken some positive measures, such as differentiating instruc-tion, advanced placement, and individual-based teaching. However, such strategies are usually meant for top students and inter-mediate students only, while CESs are still not covered. This article, through theoretical research, questionnaires and interviews, aims to 1) preliminarily determine the size and statuses of CESs, 2) analyze the attitudes of school administrators, teachers and stu-ents toward CESs, and 3) discuss the feasibility of an independent cultivating strategy for CESs with a view to improving CESs ’ English and therefore the education quality of colleges and universities as a whole.
