摘要
高职公共英语教学历经多年的改革与发展,取得了很大的成果,但还存在一些问题,尤其教学内容总是受到多方的诟病。该文首先阐述了如何合理定位高职公共英语,接着分析了高职公共英语的教学目标,并指出,要在需求分析的基础上,选取教学内容。语言技能训练应和知识传授融合在一起。这样,学生就可以实现知识建构、思维训练与英语技能共同提高的目标。
In spite of the great achievements made in General English teaching in vocational colleges, it is still dissatisfying, the teaching content of which is often criticized. Firstly, this paper explains what role General English plays in higher vocational education. And then, it analyses the teaching goal of General English, pointing out that the teaching content should be chosen on the basis of needs analysis. Language skills training should be combined together with knowledge instruction. In this way can students in vocational colleges obtain knowledge construction, thinking training, and the improvement of English skills.
