摘要 This essay analyzes the two Christians, who are Reverend Master Dimmesdale in Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter and Vicar General Claude Frollo in Victor Hugo's Notre Dame de Paris. These two men have many similarities and differences. This essay posits their personalities and life experiences to discuss similarities and differences. This essay analyzes the two Christians, who are Reverend Master Dimmesdale in Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter and Vicar General Claude Frollo in Victor Hugo's Notre Dame de Paris. These two men have many similarities and differences. This essay posits their personalities and life experiences to discuss similarities and differences.
