The Analysis of Meeting Utterance in the Perspective of Leech's Principles of Politeness —— Taking the Meeting of St. Regis as Example

Geoffrey Leech的礼貌原则能够有效的分析酒店会议当中的礼貌用语,遵循该原则也有利于会议的顺利进行,不过礼貌原则对会议也存在某种程度上的不适表现。因此,笔者认为,"礼貌原则"固然可用于分析会议话语,但也不可忽视它的缺漏之处。

Greffier Leech's principles of politeness could analyze the polite language which used in meeting well, following the principles is also good to keep meeting going smoothly. However, the principles of politeness also have something that make it not suitable for analyzing meeting utterance. Therefore, the writer considers that although the principles of politeness could be used in meeting utterance, its inadequacy in analyzing should also be noted.
