摘要 阅读是语言学习过程中一项重要技能,同时也是英语课堂上的主要教学活动。基于儿童喜爱故事的天性,参考Wright(2003)所著《讲故事教英语》中提到的故事教学法,把讲故事这一趣味性很强的活动融入英语课堂之中,将对新英语课程标准下的小学英语教学有较大的指导作用。设计故事与阅读结合的教学案例以引入故事教学法于中国小学英语阅读教学中。另选取由本土经典故事改编的简单英语故事作为教学材料,以便后期探讨改编故事是否更适用于本土儿童英语学习。 Reading is an important skill in the process of language learning and is a crucial activity in English as Foreign Language(EFL) classrooms. According to the characteristics of young learners' loving stories, Storytelling with children written by Andrew Wright shows us the details of storytelling, which should be a guide for English teaching in primary school under control of new National English Curriculum Standards. A case study of storytelling approach will be designed to bring in storytelling in reading for Chinese pupils. It is raised for further research whether the adaptation of non-native stories for native children should be effective to learn English for non-native learners.
