Analysis of Creating a Learner-Centered Communicative English Classroom

20世纪八十年代以来,西方一些新的教育理念,如学生中心,交际型英语课堂等被陆续引入国内。这些新颖的教育理念给中国的英语教师提供了很多教学启示。该文将结合中国英语教学的具体情况分析学生中心的交际型英语课堂的典型特征,以及中国教学模式下建立交际型英语课堂需要注意的几点问题。

From 1980s, some new concepts about English education were brought into China, such as learner-centered, commu-nicative language teaching, which brings enlightenment to Chinese language teachers. However, the adoption of the new con-cepts should be based on Chinese second language teaching context. This paper will mainly analyze the characteristics of a learn-er-centered communicative classroom and the way to build up such a classroom in the current Chinese teaching context, so as to help students achieve better learning effect.
