Linguistic Semiotics: Theory and Application

符号学是当代社会科学领域内一门新兴的边缘科学,自其诞生之日起便与语言学结下了不解之缘,由此出现了语言符号学。文章通过回顾相关文献,对符号与符号学两个关键术语做出界定,回顾并整理语言学与符号学二者的关系,指出语言符号学在各领域的应用,使读者由此对符号学的理论和实践有一定的了解,同时发现符号学的重要性和研究价值,以促进未来符号学的深入发展与研究。

Semiotics is a newly emerging boundary science in the area of contemporary social science. It has been tightly bounded to linguistics since it was born. In this way, linguistic semiotics emerged. This paper aims to introduce signs and semiotics, ravel out the relationship between linguistic and semiotics, as well as give a literature review, pointing out the application of linguistic semiotics in serious areas. As a result, readers can get some knowledge about semiotics from both theory and application, as well as find the importance and research value. Thus, future research on semiotics will be promoted.
