摘要
通过深入探究和分析广东外语外贸大学公开学院的机构文化,分析该文化氛围对全国高等教育自学考试英语课堂教学的影响,并提出相关的改善建议。以Schein、Hofstede和Handy的理论为框架,从企业文化的三个层面"表象"、"价值观"和"基本假设"分析该学院作为一间教育机构的文化氛围,并发现该文化对英语课堂教学产生一定的限制作用。
It is a study that focuses on exploring the organizational culture of Open College, a language training institute in Guangzhou(China) established on the basis of the self-taught examination system, and on how the features of the organizational culture affect its TESOL teaching. Based on Schein's, Hofstede's and Handy's theories, an in-depth discovery and understanding of the organizational culture of the college from the perspectives of'artifacts','espoused values'and'basic assumptions'are conducive to knowing better about the TESOL classrooms and figure out the improvement to them.
