摘要
当前元认知策略已经成为英语阅读教学的重点,它对学生的认知能力与认知过程起到了调控与监测的作用。所以,把元认知策略与大学英语阅读教学相结合,培养学习者自主阅读的能力已成为一种趋势。
This paper explores the metacognitive strategies and their close relation with students' autonomous competence in col-lege English reading. And it explains how teachers foster students’autonomous reading competence in English reading through four aspects:enhancing metacognitive awareness;planning;self-monitoring reading process and evaluating.
