顺应论视域下《哀希腊》汉译的文化意象流变

随着翻译研究的文化转向,翻译研究从文本层面转向影响文本产生的外部因素,从以原语文化为中心转向以译入语文化为中心,着重考查翻译在译入语文化发展中的作用。该文在顺应论理论的基础上,结合《哀希腊》的三个不同译本来探讨翻译中的意象传递问题。透过拜诗意象汉译的流变来审视经典文学作品复译这一历史现象,解读翻译主体审美心理和文化心态的变迁。

With the cultural turn of translation studies, translation studies moves away from the text-oriented approach to the ex-ternal elements in translation production, starting from the SL culture to TL culture and exploring the role translation plays in the development of TL culture. Based on the adaptability theory and the three different versions of The Isles of Greece, the paper probes into the transmission of cultural image in translation. Through translating Byron ’s poetry imagery into Chinese, we can re-view the historical phenomenon of retranslating classical literature and interpret the transition of aesthetic and cultural phycology of translation subject.
