摘要
鉴于语言与文化的密切关系,作为语言意义主要承载者的词汇必然深受文化的影响。大学英语词汇教学引入文化教学必将使广大学习者受益,减少语言使用问题的同时提高跨文化交际能力和交际意识。该文尝试用利奇对词汇意义的分类对文化教学的内容进行了说明,并结合个人的教学经验提出了大学英语词汇教学中导入文化教学的方法和原则。
In light of the close relationship between language and culture, as major transmitter of meanings, lexicons are bound to be deeply influenced by culture. Therefore, cultural introduction to College English lexical teaching will surely benefit students in clearing their communication barriers as well as enhance their inter-cultural communication competence. This paper, taking Leech's categorization of lexical meanings as basis, intends to define content of cultural introduction and then proposes teaching methods the teaching principles.
