The study tries to analysis the translation of Chinese internet words based on the translation relevance theory according to their characteristics. optimal relevance The study shows that different translation strategies should be used to built optimal rele-vance between internet words and their translation. The English translation words should not only tally with Chinese special cul-ture, but also be easy to be understood by English-speaking people. In this way the effect of Chinese culture in the world can be improved.
