摘要
党的十八大吹响了新一轮全面深化改革的号角,其中就包括高职教育的改革。高职教育既有别于本科教育,也不同于专门的职业培训教育;它既要保证学生接受正规的高等教育,也要突出它的特色——培养学生的职业能力。而传统的高职英语教学只注重应试教育,无法与学生将来的工作挂钩;再加上生源的多样化,导致教学难易度难以掌控,这些原因造成学生英语学习激情低。基础英语课该如何顺应改革的号角?如何培养学生的综合素质和能力?以下将就这些问题提出一些见解。
The 18th CPC National Congress promotes the all round deepening reform of education,including the Higher Voca-tional Education. HVE is different from Undergraduate Education and Professional Training. It must insure the basic higher edu-cation and emphasize its specialty-the training of students’professional abilities. The traditional HVE just stresses the exam-ori-ented education and ignores students’abilities for the future jobs, which lowers down the students’passion of English studying with the different levels of students English leading the difficulties in teaching. How to reform the teaching of basic English? How to improve students’synthetical quality and ability? This essay will give some points for such questions.
