摘要
文学作品中通常包含许多文化负载词,研究文化负载词的翻译方法对发展翻译事业,弘扬我国优秀文化意义重大。基于直译(音译)、直译(音译)加注释、直译(音译)加意译、意译、省译五种翻译方法,该文对《浮生六记》林语堂英译本中的文化负载词分五类进行描述性分析,指出林语堂针对每种文化负载词所采用的不同翻译方法。
Lots of cultural-loaded words are contained in literary works. The analysis of the translation methods of cultural-load-ed words has great significance to the development of translation study and cultural transmission of our country. There are five kinds of cultural-loaded words in Lin Yutang’s version of Fu Sheng Liu Ji, Six Chapters of a Floating Life:the literal translation or transliteration, literal translation plus notes, literal translation plus free translation, free translation, omitting. Based on the five kinds of translation methods, this thesis analyzes the translation of the five kinds of cultural-loaded words respectively and con-cludes the corresponding translation methods Lin Yutang chooses for each kind of cultural-loaded words.
