Compare Two English Version of Kong Yiji from Lefevere’s Rewriting Theory

勒菲弗尔提出的翻译改写理论强调了意识形态、诗学等因素对翻译的影响。通过比较研究鲁迅的小说名篇《孔乙己》的杨宪益译本与威廉·莱尔译本,并进行典型实例分析,说明了两位译者的不同版本是受译者当时所处的社会意识形态、诗学观等因素影响。

Rewriting theory proposed by Andre Lefevere emphasizes the influences of ideology, poetics on translation. Through the comparative study of Yang Xian-yi’s translation and William A. Lyell’s translation of Lu Xun's masterpiece Kong Yiji, as well as typical examples analysis, the paper illustrates the two different versions of the translator is influenced by the translator so-cial ideology, poetics at that time.
