汉语连动结构“V1着V2”的有界性分析

The Analysis of Telicity of the Serial Verb Construction of "V1着V2" in Mandarin Chinese

旨在分析汉语连动结构"V1着V2"的有界性,并探究其有界性程度。以往研究主要是关注该结构的结构描写、理论依据和语法功能,很少探究有界性方面的问题。该研究基于从北京大学中国语言学研究中心语料库中所收集的193例语料。根据V2的特点将这些语料分为四类,每一类连动结构的有界性分析都参照认知语言学中的心理扫描理论进行。分析显示,同时结合顺序扫描和总体扫描可以对连动结构"V1着V2"进行有界性分析,该结构内部的四个子类中存在层级性;这类连动结构的有界性程度取决于所研究的词组属于哪个子类。

The aim is to analyze the telicity of the serial verb construction of“V1着V2”in Mandarin Chinese and to explore the degree of telicity of this type of the serial verb construction. Previous studies of the serial verb construction attach great impor-tance to the structure, theoretical rationale or grammatical functions, and seldom concentrate on the telic aspect of this construc-tion. The study of the telicity here is based on 193 phrases belonging to this construction and the data are collected from Center for Chinese Linguistics PKU. These phrases can be classified into four groups according to the characteristics of V 2, and the analy-sis of the telicity of each group is conducted with reference of mental scanning in cognitive linguistics. The study shows that the analysis of telicity combines both sequential scanning and summary scanning, and there is a hierarchy of telicity among the four groups of the serial verb construction of“V1着V2”; the degree of telicity of the construction depends on which group the phrase in question belongs to.
