信用证审核是国际贸易流程当中的重要环节,而商务英语单证课教材对信用证的讲解不像中文教材那么深入,学生对很多知识点也只是表面了解,不知道背后的原因及要点。该文主要补充了《单证英语》课程中,出口商审核信用证过程中需要注意的几个方面,即信用证的真实性、条款的含义、不切实际的条款、矛盾条款、软条款、和数字有关的条款和更新的条款。通过对这些知识点的补充,希望学生能够对信用证有更全面的认识,从而有助于这一知识点的掌握。

Examining letters of credit is an important step in international trade. For beneficiaries,i.e. exporters,they are supposed to examine Ls/C carefully and comprehensively,for the examination is of critical importance for the settlement. This paper mainly discusses several points that they need to keep in mind. By focusing on the above points,exports should try to find out where the Ls/C need to be modified for their own interests. Students of business English should keep these points in mind in learning English of documents.
