The Positive Discourse Analysis of National Identity Construction Based on Appraisal Theory——A Case Study of China National Promotional Film

全球化进程不断深化的今天,国家形象作为国家软实力的象征,在国际竞争中发挥着举足轻重的作用,因此各国均致力于良好的国家形象的塑造,构建积极健康的国家身份。近年来,话语分析出现了建设性的转向,出现了积极话语分析,对批评话语分析做出了发展和补充。该文运用积极话语分析的主要方法之一评价理论,对中国国家形象宣传片(角度篇)中的中国国家身份的构建进行分析,以深刻解读如何构建积极良好的国家身份。

With the development of the globalization,national image becomes the symbol of soft power of a country and plays a vital role in international competition. So every country devotes to building national image and constructing national identity.Recently,the discourse analysis experiences a constructive turn from critical discourse analysis to positive discourse analysis which is a development and complement to the former. Within the framework of positive discourse analysis,based on the appraisal theory,the paper analyses the national identity construction in the China National Promotional Film to get a deep understanding of national identity construction.
