英语专业低年级议论文写作中语块运用能力研究

A Research of Junior English Majors'Ability in Using Lexical Chunks in Argumentative Writing

语块是写作的有机组成部分,合理运用语块可以有效提高写作的流利程度、准确程度以及语篇的组织能力。该文通过对英语专业低年级学生议论文写作中语块运用状况进行研究,发现学生在语块数量及类型上发展不平衡,同类型语块重复比较明显,从而反映了学生在英语写作中语块运用欠缺一定的灵活性。同时,文章也指出在英语写作教学中,应突出语块在写作中的重要地位,以提高学生对语块的重视及整体写作能力的提高。

Lexical chunks is an organic part of writing and the appropriate use of lexical chunks can effectively improve the writ?ing fluency, accuracy as well as the ability of discourse organization. By studying the characteristics of applying lexical chunks in argumentative writing by English majors from different grades, this article found the unbalanced development in the quantity and types in lexical chunks, as well as the repetition of lexical chunks in writing is quite obvious, which reflect the lack of flexibility in using lexical chunks. Meanwhile, in the teaching of English writing, lexical chunks should be put in the important position so as to improve the students' whole writing ability.
