Within the framework of Adaptation Theory proposed by Jef. Verschueren, the Chinese versions of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Chen Bochui and Ma Ainong are compared and the conclusion is arrived at that Adaptation Theory provides a powerful guideline for children's literature translation.
