摘要
商务函电因业务的情况呈现出断续性、行进性、互动性和简约性等特点。该文结合Panther&Thornburg的认知转喻学说和Sperber&Wilson的关联理论对商务函电连贯进行认识语用分析,并提出:商务函电的连贯生成和理解要考虑交际双方的商业利益、双方交易的意愿度和双方各自的市场地位等语用参数,连贯可以发生在最直接的表达方式至最能促成双方交易达成的言语传递之间的最佳相关当中。
Business correspondence is characterized by its intermittentness, progressiveness, interactiveness and simpleness. Com?bining the interpretation of both Panther&Thornburg‘s cognitive metonymy notion and Sperber&Wilson’s relevance theory, this article probes into the cognitive and pragmatic coherence of business correspondence, proposing that parameters of both sides such as commercial benefit, willingness to trade and position ranking in the market should be considered in the making and un?derstanding of the business correspondence coherence, and that coherence appears well within the optimal relevance continuum from the most direct expression to the most expressive utterance of coming to an agreement to a trade deal.
