摘要
该文展示了一次邀请英语本族语人士参与的大学英语课堂访谈活动的设计、实施及反思。活动设计以交互式外语教学思想和社会文化理论为理论基础,通过在课堂中营造真实交际语境,探索实现大学英语多元目标的有效途径。通过对活动前后问卷调查结果数据分析,结合对活动后学生反思日记的整理分析,笔者发现"访谈活动"的课程活动形式受到了学生的欢迎。学生在与嘉宾的互动、以及学生之间的互动交流中实现了一种多元化的学习过程,包括语言技能的训练、文化知识的学习、跨文化交际的意识的培养、自主学习意识的提升和对人文情怀的熏陶。这样的课堂活动充分体现了大学英语课堂教学的多元化功能,符合以拓展世界知识为目的的工具性与人文性兼备的大学英语教学目标。
This paper reports a“Talk Show”organized in College English class with a native speaker of English as a guest speak?er, its design, procedure and reflections. The approach of the activity is a combination of the Interactive Foreign Language Teach?ing Approach (IFLTA) and the socio-cultural theory. It aims at exploring practical method to meet the multi-dimensioned ob?jective of College English through setting up authentic communicative environment in the classroom teaching. With the data col?lected through pre-questionnaire and after-questionnaire as well as the reflective writing collected after the activity, the authors have found the activity was welcomed by the students. The interactions between students and the guest speaker as well as among students have greatly promoted a learning process with the characteristics of multi-dimensions, including the learning of language skills and cultural information, the awareness raising in cross-cultural communication, independent learning and humanistic think?ing. Therefore, the result demonstrates that the multi-dimensioned objective of College English has been achieved through the special activity.
