西方语境化教学初探

Review on the Development of Contextual Teaching and Learning in Western Countries

外语教学中语境化教学是最佳的教学手段之一。文章简要回顾了西方语境化教学的指导意义、研究内容,总结了语境理论在语境化教学中的深化、发展,介绍了西方语境化教学在外语基础性教学中的应用。总结指出西方语境化教学对我国外语教学发展具有指导意义。

Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is considered as one of the major Teaching Aids in foreign language teach?ing and learning. This study was carried out to review and summarize the origination, development and prospect of CTL. Vast re?search effort has been dedicated and a wide range of literature is available for the subject. It was concluded that CTL presents im?portant references of guiding significance for the development of China’s foreign language teaching.
