An increasing interest of foreign students to study in China is noticed in recent years. In this article, statistics of foreign student in China is made. It has been observed that their number and distribution areas keep increasing. Analysis shows that these trends are connected with the improvement of the academic environment, the development of the universities, and the positive attitude of Chinese government. Meanwhile it is also found that there is a worldwide cognition disagreement regarding the devel?opment of Chinese higher education. It raises new requirements to the universities and relevant education departments.
