试析模糊语言译法——以《爱丽丝梦游仙境》为例

On the Translation of Fuzzy Language——a Case Study of Alice in Wonderland

模糊性是自然语言的基本属性,广泛存在于语言系统的语音、语法、语义等多个层面。语言模糊性与翻译研究有着密切的关系,是翻译研究不可回避的问题。但目前模糊语言学主要侧重理论研究,对文学翻译的指导意义还不够具体和细化。笔者尝试利用奈达的功能对等理论,通过对比分析《爱丽丝梦游仙境》两个汉译本的部分章节,揭示语言模糊性对文学翻译的指导意义。笔者认为,以后的研究应该基于更多的译本来对比分析,总结提炼,才能明确更具体的翻译技巧与策略。

Fuzziness is one of the basic features of natural language, existing widely in phonetic, grammatical and semantic levels. Language fuzziness is closely related to translation and is unavoidable for translation research. However, presently research on fuzzy language mostly stresses on theoretical study instead of practical guidance, thus having not drawn enough attention for the field of translation. Thus the author tries to use Nida’s principle of functional equivalence to analyze and compare some contents from the two Chinese translation versions of Alice in Wonderland to unveil the practical guidance of fuzzy linguistics for literary translation and put forward research direction in the future.
