English as a second language has been learned and taught in Chinese colleges for several decades. But seen from students' TEM-4 and TEM-6 results and their practical application, the effect is limited and unsatisfied. Input and output theories are applied to analyze this situation and how to use them to improve the present Chinese students' English language learning situation.
