慕课背景下地方应用型高校大学英语教学改革的思考

Thoughts on English Teaching Reform in Local Application-oriented Colleges in MOOC Era

地方应用型高校大学英语教学由于条件限制存在师生比例悬殊、教学资源匮乏、教师教学观念陈旧等问题,慕课作为一种新兴的在线课程模式,相对于传统课程模式具有大规模、开放性及在线学习等特点与优势,可以弥补传统教学模式的不足,解决这些问题。文章结合慕课的特点及优势提出整合传统教学与慕课教学,采用混合式教学模式,并探讨了混合式教学方案的设计原则和设计过程。

English teaching in local application-oriented colleges has many problems such as disproportionality in the number of teachers and students, lack of teaching resources and out-dated teaching conception. As a new curriculum model, MOOC has many advantages such as being massive, open and online, which may solve those problems. Considering the characteristics and ad?vantages of MOOC, this paper puts forward the suggestion of adopting the blended teaching model and explores the design princi?ples and procedure of the blended teaching.
