摘要
John Keats’poems are among the most popular and most analyzed works in English literature.Among them,most criticsand scholars agreed to declare To Autumn one of the most perfect poems in the English language.According to previous scholars,the tension in the poem was one of the essential elements to make the poem a perfect one.Therefore,it is worth discussing how ten-sion is kept and presented to readers in translated versions after transformation process of two different languages.This paper ex-plores on how tension is achieved in the Chinese translations of the poem by comparing the translated works of famous translatorssuch as Zhu Xiang and Zha Liangzheng.After detailed analysis,the author finds that compared with Zhu,Zha Liangzheng has bet-ter performance in presenting tension in the poem.
