摘要 The thesis is about the connotations and translations in English and Chinese Languages.And the words"peach"and"moon"are mainly discussed.The former part focuses on the diversities between these two languages and the latter,similarities.And translations are discussed according to different cases.The sources of examples related to the topic were English versions byprofessor Xu Yuanchong,works of the ancient Chinese literary and Center for Chinese Linguistics PKU.
