摘要
该文以国内三种6至8岁儿童所用少儿英语教材为例,通过文本分析方法,用建构主义理论检验教材适用性。主要检验维度包括程式化语言的输入、词汇和语法难度、语言知识情景化情况。结果发现在词汇认知难度、程式化语言输入方面三本教材做得较好,而语法难度、知识情景化方面较为不足。文章最后提出还应从更多理论角度检验少儿英语教材的适用性。
Various of young learner ESL textbooks are surging in China these days. However, the quality may vary and relevant re?liable evaluation of these materials is rare. With three ESL textbooks aimed at children from 6 to 8 years old as the cases, this arti?cle tries to evaluate the adequacy of these material from the constructionist perspective. Evaluated spectrums include their linguis?tic input, the difficulty of vocabulary and grammar, and the contextualization of linguistic features. The analysis shows that they display strength in linguistic input and the difficulty of vocabulary, but lacking grammatical difficulty and the contextualization.
