改写理论视角下严复的翻译——浅析《群学肄言》

From the View of Rewriting Theory:Yan Fu's Translation——A Brief Analysis on Qun Xue Yi Yan

严复是我国著名的启蒙思想家和翻译家,他将著名的社会学著作《社会学研究》翻译并介绍给中国知识分子,冠名为《群学肄言》,并且译文在原文的基础上进行了一定程度的改写。本文拟从改写理论的角度分析《群学肄言》,从而得出严复译文的变动有着深刻的社会,政治,文化和个人原因。

Yan Fu is a famous Enlightenment thinker and translator of China. He translated the famous sociological work TheStudy of Sociology and introduced it to the Chinese intellectuals with the title of Qun Xue Yi Yan. On the basis of the original work,the translation has been rewritten to some extent. This paper intends to analysis Qun Xue Yi Yan from the view of Rewrite Theory,so as to know that Yan Fu's translation changed the original work with profound social, political, cultural and personal reasons.
