A Brief Analysis on Color Words in Different Background

We live with colors everyday; however, while mentioning cultural connotations and translation of color words, many people will be dumbfounded. Due to different languages and cultures between English and Chinese, the translation methods of words also differ greatly. This article bases on the cultural connotations and translation of color words. We will draw forth the cultural connotation by introducing the basic meaning of color words. And then it introduces the differences of cultural connotations of color words between the western and eastern culture. A good translation is an effective bridge between English and Chinese. We are willing to contribute to it.
