English Multimodal Teaching under the New Curriculum Standard Reform

教育部2012年颁布的《义务教育英语课程标准(2011版)》确定了"以人为本"的教育理念,对英语学习者的语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等五个方面提出了更高的要求。在多媒体信息技术迅速发展的教育背景下,多模态教学的理念应运而生,它探讨了多模态教学的必要性和可行性,以及简要讨论了如何结合教育实际情况正确实施多模态教学。将多模态教学更好地应用到英语教学课堂,提高学生的英语学习兴趣和效率,进一步落实《新课标》的理念,贯彻执行《新课标》的精神。

In 2012,the Ministry of Education issued the compulsory education English curriculum standards(2011 edition)to deter-mine the 'people-oriented ' education idea and put forward higher requirements on language skills,language knowledge,emotionalattitude,learning strategies and cultural awareness of English learners.In the education background of rapid development of themultimedia information technology,the concept of multimodal teaching comes into being.It mainly discusses the necessity and fea-sibility of multimodal teaching and briefly discussed how to carry out multimodal teaching correctly in combination with the practi-cal situation of education.Applying multimodal teaching to the junior middle school English classroom can attract English studyinginterest and improve the efficiency of junior middle school students,further implementing the concept of 'new standard' and carry-ing out the spirit of 'new standard'.
