生态翻译视角下影视字幕翻译的归化和异化

Domestication and Foreignization in the Translation of Film Subtitle Translation from the Perspective of Ecology

随着人们对翻译活动研究的深入,跨学科研究日益显著。胡庚申教授提出的生态翻译学理论从生物学环境论的角度分析译者的翻译活动,指出译者在翻译过程中通过选择不同的翻译方法,来适应不同读者或不同市场的需求。在经济全球化的背景下,文化全球化的进程更是势不可挡。其中的一个突出表现当属国际大片进入国内市场,影视字幕汉译随之活跃起来,一时炙手可热。然而外文电影在译入汉语的过程中,译者的选择至关重要,应该保留影片的异域风格促进文化交融,还是应符合国内观众需求,适应本土文化,接地气。影视字幕翻译的进化,取决于合理运用归化和异化。

With the deepening of translation studies,interdisciplinary research is increasingly significant.Eco-translatology theoryproposed by professor Hu Gengshen is to analyze translation activity from the perspective of Environmental Biology.In the processof translation,translators try their best to seek for different translation methods,so as to adapt to different readers and markets.Un-der the background of economic globalization,the process of cultural globalization has boomed.International films entering domes-tic market is one of the features and the translation of film subtitle has been active.However,in the process of translating for-eign movies,translator's choice becomes very important,whether they should keep the exotic style of films to promote cultural fu-sion,or conform to the demand of domestic audience.The evolution of film subtitle translation depends on the proper use of domes-tication and foreignization.
