读写结合模式下的大学英语教学

College English Teaching under the Combination of Reading and Writing

语言是交流的工具。阅读为写作提供素材积累,语言表达方式的积累,还可以开阔思路,了解掌握英语写作的特点和规律;相应的,写作能够检验阅读成果,进一步促动阅读。新世纪的大学英语教学仍然要以培养阅读和写作能力为根本,提高学生的英语综合运用能力,尤其是口头交际能力。

Language is regarded as a tool for communication. Reading not only can help to accumulate source and materials, lan?guage expressions for writing, but it also contribute to open mind and good writing skills. In turn, writing is an effective way to testi?fy what one has learned from reading, further promoting reading interest. College English teaching in the 21st century should be build on the foundation of reading and writing ability. In this way, students can get improved comprehensively, especially the abili?ty of speaking English.
