Among all parts of CET-4, the Section A in reading comprehension is considered to be the hardest one for college stu?dents. This article summarizes research on the first part( blank-filling) of reading test of CET-4. We describe a critical approach to finish this part by analyzing the structure. We suggest college students prove the reading skill and do adequate practice. In the mean time, teacher should lead them to focus on essential grammar system.
