It is well-acknowledged that William Faulkner presents an absurd and ridiculous world of morbid psychology, distortedmind and the dying family ties in As I Lay Dying. Ever since its publication the novel has received widespread acclaims from dis-tinct perspectives. Nonetheless, as a peering experimentalist of the age, seldom has Faulkner been discussed about the art of dem-onstrating absurdity. In the attempt to extend scopes of understanding William Faulkner and literature of the absurd the article pen-etrates into depth the conveyance of sense absurdity and alienation through language and writing techniques of the novel.
