学生视角下的英语专业现状分析与应对策略——以江苏省高校英语专业为例

English Major Problems and Solutions From Students' Perspective——A Case Study of English Majors in Universities of Jiangsu Province

英语专业从设立前期到改革开放后都在不断经历着跌宕起伏,现今,发现和研究该专业存在的问题至关重要。该研究通过对江苏省高校英语专业学生进行问卷和访谈调查,分析目前江苏省高校英语专业(以江南大学、南京大学、扬州大学、南京师范大学英语专业为例)在培养方法、管理策略、师资构成、教材和设备、生源及社会需求等方面的现状和存在的问题,并且立足现状,结合调查数据和材料提出具有可行性的相应解决对策。

English major has been going through ups and downs from its early establishment to the reform and opening. Nowadays, researchers have found that it is essential to discover and research the problems of this major. This study (take English major of Universities in Jiangsu Province as examples) analyzes training meth-ods, management strategies, faculty composition, teaching re?sources, equipment, students, social needs through ca-rrying out interviews and surveys among students and teachers of English major in some universities. Meanwhile, it stands on the current situation to put forward viable solutions in combination with statis?tics and materials.
