As periphery theory, aesthetic theory is making wider and wider influence, especially to petroleum domain. This paper discusses the aesthetics of technical English of petroleum from accurate, logical, fluent and standard levels. With specific exam?ples, the author hopes this paper will make contributions to future translation practice.
