译者主体作用的客观存在这一积极因素往往被忽视。该文借助阐释学翻译观的四个步骤,以《岳阳楼记》英译本为例,关注并考察翻译过程中译者主体性的体现。得出结论在翻译过程中对作品的阐释及翻译目的、翻译策略都体现了译者主体性。

Translator's subjectivity plays a great role in translation but can be easily overlooked. This article will pay close atten-tion to translator's subjectivity in the English version of Yueyang Tower under the four steps of hermeneutic translation.
