《呼兰河传》民俗文化翻译研究

Folklore Culture Translation Research of The Tales of Hulan River

随着莫言获得诺贝尔文学奖,民俗文化题材的翻译愈加受到瞩目,而在众多作品中,葛浩文的翻译最具代表性。同时,葛浩文也是较早开始研究萧红作品的翻译家,对萧红作品有着深刻的理解。该文通过分析葛浩文翻译萧红的《呼兰河传》,对小说中最具特色的民俗叙事内容的翻译做研究,从而总结出此类作品的英译技巧以及其翻译作品所有的价值。

More and more people pay attention to the folklore culture translation since Mo Yan won the Nobel literature prize.Among those works, the most representative must be Goldblatt's. Meanwhile, Goldblatt is among the translators who started study-ing Hsiao Hung in an early time as well. So he gets deep understanding of her works. In this thesis, through the analysis of The Tales of Hulan River by Goldblatt, we will do research on the most featured folklore translation. Finally, make a conclusion on theEnglish translation of this kind of work and the value of the translation work.
