Myheegun, My Brother is one of Eric Acland's short stories, which appears in Comtemporary College English: Intensive Reading Ⅱ. This story presents deep ecological connotation, which eulogizes the ecological relationship between man and nature.Meanwhile, by telling a story of a boy and a wolf, Eric Acland reveals the ecological spirit of Native American culture through build-ing the character 'grandfather' who stands for ecocentrism and 'Mrs. Yesno' who stands for anthropocentrism. Ultimately, EricAcland appeals for people's awareness of ecological heritage.
